Speaker Request

Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Michigan Anti-Trafficking Project (MAP). Human trafficking thrives in the shadows, and education is one of our most powerful tools to combat it.

Invite MAP to Speak at Your Event

By bringing a MAP speaker to your faith-based group, school, community organization, or professional service network, you are helping to raise vital awareness and equip your community to prevent modern-day slavery.

What We Offer

Our representatives tailor presentations to suit your audience’s needs, knowledge level, and event format. We are available for:

  • Keynote Presentations: A comprehensive overview of human trafficking, its red flags, and how to take action.
  • Workshops & Breakout Sessions: Deep dives into specific prevention strategies or localized issues.
  • Panel Discussions: Collaborating with other community leaders and experts.
  • Media Appearances: Interviews for radio, podcasts, or local news.
  • Resource Tables: Informational setups for community fairs, conferences, or church lobbies.

Booking Guidelines & Logistics

To help us pair you with the best representative and prepare a high-impact presentation, please review our standard guidelines:

  • Advance Notice: We recommend submitting your request at least 4 weeks prior to your event date. Requests are prioritized in the order they are received and are subject to speaker availability.
  • Location & Formats: We offer both virtual (online/hybrid) presentations and in-person sessions. For in-person events, we currently have representatives available across Southeast Michigan, Mid-Michigan, and West Michigan.
  • Speaker Fees & Support: MAP is a mission-driven organization. While we try to accommodate as many requests as possible, we deeply appreciate organizations that can provide an honorarium, a donation to MAP in lieu of a speaker fee, or coverage for transportation expenses to help sustain our community work.

Please complete the form below to share your event details with our team. If you have any questions or need assistance while completing this request, feel free to reach out to us at info@map-mi.org.
